There are many problems in Bangladesh like food problems, unemployment’s problems, Female education problems, natural disaster problem, child working problem etc. Population problem is one of the main problems in Bangladesh. It is a major problem. The government of Bangladesh always thing to recover it.
It is a small country of 1,47,570 square kilometres. The density of population is about 876 per square kilometre. Every year twenty lac new babies are born in Bangladesh.
Bangladesh is one of the most densely populated countries of the world. About twelve core people live in this small land. Many of the ills of the country are due to over population. In 1981, Bangladesh had a population of about nine crore. But in 1989, it increased to eleven core. That means two crore more people added to ti. The growth in about 3% every year. Bangladesh is a over populated country.
Though the population is an asset of a country but sometime it is a curse when a country cannot meet the necessities of the people. Additional people need additional things like food. Clothes, houses, hospitals, work etc. The poor people cannot prof this family condition for due to want. The effect of over population is very dangerous. The rate of unemployment is increasing every year.
Law and order situation is now out of control. There is no balance between food production and population. The price of things is rising rapidly. Over population always created much pressure on all sectors of economy.
We should come forward to remedy of this problem. We should stop early marriage. Each family should not have more than two children in family. We should remove illiteracy from the society. The government cannot shove this problem alone.
We should be awareness about this. Each people maintain family planning
and others treatments. Otherwise we will be ruined as nation.
